He founded Pivotal Asset Management, LLC, and advised late-stage crossover funds before joining Criterion. Lord also worked as Research Director, maintained a short portfolio, and supervised private investments.

     

    From 1996 through 1999, Christopher Lord was a Senior Analyst at Amerindo Investment Advisors, Inc. The position supervised or aided with managing more than $1 billion in assets for technology businesses.     Lord also served on the board of the San Francisco preschool for working families, Pacific Primary School.     The Dartmouth College

     

    Christopher Lord currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College, chairing the Investment Committee and participating on the Resources and Student Affairs Committees. In February 2022, Lord and fellow trustee Susan Huang established the Presidential Search Committee to choose the next president. The strategy includes forums for students, faculty, alums, and staff to offer input on the search procedure.

     

    The search for a new President led to the nomination of Sian Leah Beilock as the 19th head of the institution. In July of 2023, she will become the first woman to serve as president of Dartmouth. Christopher Lord is pleased to have co-chaired the search committee that led to such a huge choice for the Ivy League institution.
